My first Charter!

My dad made me my own steering wheel at the co-pilot seat. This picture was taken in Hobe Sound at my grandparents boat docks. They lived across from the State Park on the intracoastal waterway. As a kid, I loved traveling there by boat to visit them on weekends. Their community all fished and so did my whole family. I think my grandparents would be happy to see I am now a Charter Captain.

  Vintage PB Fishing

The date on that Wahoo picture with my Uncle carrying it on his back says 1958. We have lot's of old 8mm movies of family fishing trips from back to the early 60's. There were always plenty of Grouper, Snapper, Dolphin, Wahoo, whatever you wanted to catch. They also say the snook fishing was unbelievable back then. It would be nice to go back 50 years to fish for a day!

  Little Capt. Ed

Not sure why my aunt took my
picture with that dead mullet
I found at the docks. if there was a fish around I would find it. But, this one
smelled pretty bad and she wouldn't
let me touch it without using
a papertowel?

  Freshwater too!

We knew some pretty good places to catch Big Bass. The smallest bass on that stringer was 5lbs. I later mounted one 11lbs from that same fishing spot. A picture of a couple kingfish and some yellowtail snapper too.

  Palm Beach Bluefish

This size is rare for S. Florida now days. This bluefish was 12lbs.
